We are having a fun busy summer! I can't believe it is almost August! A few weeks ago we went to see Space Shuttle Endeavor launch. It almost went and at the last minute bad weather rolled in. The next day it was cancelled too. We ended up not getting to see the shuttle launch, but we found a great place for next time! Rhett is involved in swimming lessons this summer. His instructor comes to our neighborhood pool on Friday mornings. He is making good progress with his form. She really focuses on this. He is also doing gymnastics on Thursday mornings. He really enjoys both of these activities. Bailey is just running around starting trouble! Ok, not all the time. It is fun trouble. As you can see Keith was working on his trailer and she decided to help him!!!! Then yesterday she wanted some chocolate milk and I was not getting it fast enough. She got the chocolate powder out and made her own! Have a great week!

We Are Still Here!
Things have been a bit crazy around our house. I have not posted since July 4th Weekend. A few days after that I got REALLY sick! I had the worst stomach bug ever! I was out for 7 days and it took two weeks to fully recover! Thankfully Keith was around and was really able to help a TON! He stayed home for a few days and took over the house and kids. We got busy again this week since I was feeling better. I took the kids to the library Wednesday for story time and to get some books. They had a blast. The Jacksonville Beach library is very nice. Their story time was really good and the kids section is amazing and has so many books. They have many programs available to kids. We will be spending more time here. We also got a lot of Rhett's art supplies this week to get ready for school. There is a great store with all we needed in Jax Beach. I miss Hawaii, but I am loving being to find what I need easily here on the mainland! Today Keith was off work and we had a beach day. We headed North to Big Talbot Island. We had a picnic lunch and then walked to the beach. This was not your typical Florida beach. It was a 1/4 mile walk to it and it reminded me a lot of the beaches in Seattle. Mainly because it was covered with driftwood. We were the only people there and it was so peaceful. Rhett and Bailey had so much fun running around and playing in the water. Of course, the water was VERY murky, but they didn't care! I personally don't care to be in water that I cannot see to the bottom. So, I steered clear and got some sun! It was a great Friday. I keep thinking it is Saturday since we had so much fun! With Keith being in school I get our days mixed up since he is home at odd times! After a long day at the beach we put the kids to bed early and had a quiet dinner. It was flavorful too! I have a link to Kitchen Mischief and I HIGHLY recommend this website. One of the contributors is Josh Miller. He is a friend of our family from high school. He is an incredible writer and it is a joy to read his blog. Very entertaining as well as some amazing recipes. I have tried many of them and they are fresh and tasty. Tonight we had the Greek Flank Steak with orzo, roasted vegetables with lemon vinaigrette and feta! This paired with a glass of sauvignon blank topped off a great day! Thanks Josh! Well, it is late and I am tired. The sun tends to do this to me! I will take some pictures soon grandmas I promise!

Fourth of July Weekend
We got home from Disneyworld on Thursday and Maw Maw and Pappy arrived at our house on Friday morning! They were only able to stay for a short time, but we all made the most of it. We had a wonderful weekend together and the kids were sad to see them go. Our house was so quiet today after they left Sunday and Mimi, Paw Paw, YaYa and Krista headed back home on Thursday. Also Keith was back at work today. We have been around family for the last two weeks and today was lonely for me and the kids. We will get used to it though! We are blessed to have such wonderful families who love us and our children very much! I hope you all had a Happy Fourth!

Disneyworld
As many of you know we took a family vacation/reunion to Disneyworld! Keith and me and the kids along with The Burr Family, Aubry and Krista got to be kids for a whole week! We had five day passes with park hoppers and we went back and forth! Since there were eight of us we decided to rent a house. We were about 10 miles from Disney. The house was the way to go. We had 5 bedrooms to spread out in. It also had a pool which got a lot of use! If the kids weren't worn out from the park, then the pool did it! It was great being with family again. The most rewarding part for me was watching the kids interact and see their awe with the place. Rhett and Krista got along like they were never separated. They are so close. Krista and Bailey also formed a bond during this trip. They were all so precious together. It was 93 degrees outside most every day, but totally worth the heat. We hit Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom, and Hollywood Studios. I can't wait to go again!
