Kualoa Ranch and Beach Park

We had a busy fun filled weekend. On Friday night we had a babysitter and we went to see Gran Torino. It was a great movie. Clint Eastwood was amazing! Then we had dinner at Outback. I also got the call that my friend Jennifer had her twins that same night. Mary Presley and Sterling were born happy and healthy. They will keep the babies at the hospital for a little while, but they are doing good. What an exciting time for Joel and Jen!

Saturday Rhett and Bailey had two friends (Kate and Will) over to play for a few hours. They had lots of fun! Then Saturday night we had a party for a friend. He returned home after being gone for four months, it was his birthday, and he was selected to fly the new f-35! Lots to celebrate!

Sunday we went to church and watched the game, of course. With friends, of course!

Monday is displayed in the photos below. We met our friends at Kualoa Ranch. We took a bus and went on the movie set tour. It was very interesting, though Bailey got restless. This 45 minute ride makes me wonder about our upcoming 10 hour plane ride! HHHMMMM!!!!!! At the ranch we also got to see some animals. After that fun we headed across the street for a picnic and beach time! What a great day! It was a beautiful weekend here. The weather was usually cool at 72 during the day. We were all wearing sweaters. That was COLD for Hawaii.

They Love Each Other

It is so simple, yet it gets me every time I see the kids interacting like this. They have their brother and sister moments, but MOST of the time I can see they truly love one another. It is a pure, simple, childlike love. I cherish these moments so much. I love every single day I spend with these two children. I love watching them grow up together, loving one another, and learning to love God! What a wonderful blessing.

Honolulu Zoo

We went to the zoo about a week and a half ago. The little ones had fun. Bailey wasn't so sure about the goats. She would go near them and then they would move and she took off! Oh and she does not usually wear dresses so short. This outfit had capri pants with it, but by the time we got to the zoo, her diaper came off and the pants were WET!!!!!

Christmas Ornaments

These are a few shots from the kids putting their annual Christmas ornament from Maw Maw and Pappy on the tree!. Rhett got a tractor and Bailey got Rudolph. They both loved them! Thanks Maw Maw and Pappy!
