Mouth of the Waimea River

This is the mouth of the Waimea River. The river (to the right of the picture) meets the open ocean here. It is beautiful sand. There is semi precious olivine in the sand here. It gives the sand a green color. The tide was out so we walked across. You can see our footsteps.
