Pacific Missile Range Facility Barking Sands, Kauai

I can say with complete certainty that this is the most beautiful beach ever! Even after living on an island for a year and a half and seeing many different beaches, this one beats them all. It was 15miles of isolated beach! You can see some cabins in the background of a few pics and that is where we stayed for three nights. This is located on a military base and is one of the many perks we enjoy. The two bedroom cabins were only $90 dollars a night. We went to sleep to the sound of the waves and woke up to coffee overlooking the ocean. Every now and then you might see one or two people on the beach,but that was rare. We let the kids run wild. The waves were incredibly strong and the current was very strong and unpredictable. Keith seemed to enjoy being tossed around like a rag doll. I, on the other hand, enjoyed watching! This is just another example of God's brilliant work and power.
