Thanksgiving in Hawaii

Here are some pics of Rhett's Turkey Hat! We made it as a project for school! He had a blast and wanted to show it off!

We are thankful for so many things this year. Friends and family, of course! Our happy, healthy family......our warm home, our beautiful surroundings, plenty of food......I could go on and on. This Thanksgiving was a relatively quiet one for us. We stayed home and it was just the four of us. I am not sure we have EVER had such a quiet holiday! That morning we got up and did a neighborhood Turkey Trot. It was a 5K,but we made about 2 out of 3 laps. It was a lot of fun. The kids had a blast. Then we headed home for brunch casserole! After breakfast was out of the way we started cooking and relaxing. While lunch cooked the kids played in the pool. What a way to spend Thanksgiving. We will have to remember this next year when we are freezing our tootsies off! Hope you all had a great Turkey Day!
